Partnering with The Mental Health Initiative

The Mental Health Initiative partners with therapists who share the vision of expanding access to care while maintaining sustainable clinical practices.

Once a Provider becomes part of our network, therapists agree to accept clients who receive financial assistance through the Initiative.

We desire therapists who have integrity, who understand the mission of the Mental Health Initiative, recognize the finite funds available for reimbursement, and choose to honor clients, the organization, and its donors in their practices.

How the Provider Network Works

Therapists in the network:

  • Maintain their own independent practice

  • Receive client referrals through The Mental Health Initiative

  • Can refer potential clients to The Mental Health Initiative

  • Receive payment from both the client and the Initiative

This allows therapy to remain financially sustainable while expanding access for those who need assistance.

If your are a Licensed therapists who:

A Collective Solution

Therapists care deeply about expanding access to care — but reducing fees for every client who cannot afford therapy would make it impossible to sustain a practice.

Instead of absorbing the entire financial burden individually, therapists and donors work together to make therapy accessible.
